My bike was the vehicle of my independence as a kid. I remember summers riding my Huffy mountain bike deep into the woods on treacherous trails (that my mother never would have approved of). I remember being completely and joyfully lost in the wilderness, on an adventure looking for I don’t even know what, but just riding, and taking in my surroundings. I also remember how exciting it was to take that bike far into the city, riding from the burbs into town on the hilly Mansfield streets....

On the most recent installment of the Man Panel, if you didn’t tune in, we stopped by the FOX 28 set to grace Good Day Columbus with some manliness. We built bikes to be donated to Toys for Tots. And we pray that the bikes don’t cause any injury to the children as they were built mostly with hope and tape. Then, the guys and I rewarded ourselves with some smoked meat from Holy Smoke BBQ. True man style.

We wheeled our mobile unit down to campus on Lane ave to bring S.W.A.G.G. to the people. On a sub-freezing Saturday afternoon, we talked to tailgaters and Buckeye fans about our Columbus brand. A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck eight miles west of Whitesburg, Ky., early Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
